2. Professional introduction

The modern natural geography focuses on the earth surface system and the composition, structure, function and dynamic characteristics of the atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere, which constitute the system, as well as the geo ecological process mechanism and response system of the interaction between the various circles, especially the human activities to the natural geographical environment. The relationship between human and natural geographical environment, the influence of global change on the natural geographical environment, and the coordinated development of population, resources, environment and regional development are discussed.

After several generations of geographers' hard work, Henan University's natural geography major has been based on the Qinling Mountains Huang Huai junction and the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River for many years, based on the theory of modern natural geography, and vigorously develops the cross between ecology, environmental science and resource science. 7. Credit requirements for academic degrees

Graduate curriculum assessment is divided into two types: examination and examination. All the required courses are examination courses. The examination method is written in class (including closed volume and open book). The elective course is the examination course. The examination method can be the class examination, oral examination or submission report (including summary, summary, experience, etc.), course paper and other forms of degree course examination results greater than or equal to 70 points (100%). Credit can be obtained only if other courses are greater than or equal to 60 points, and credits can be obtained. 8. Training ways and methods

This professional postgraduate training adopts a combination of tutor group and specific tutor. The opening topic is the most important part of the dissertation work in the graduate student training process. Each discipline training program should provide for graduate students to read the minimum number of related documents, especially foreign language documents, and write open-ended reports. Master graduate students completed the opening report in the third semester. The opening question for master students is organized by the faculty of the faculty and departments, and several professors or associate professors of this discipline or similar subjects participate in the opening of the topic. The academic report is used to focus on the topic.

② Mid-term assessment

Mid term assessment is a necessary link to check the comprehensive ability of the graduate students and the progress of the dissertation, to guide the graduate students to grasp the direction of the dissertations and to improve the quality of the dissertations. The mid-term examination of academic degree masters should be carried out at the end of the fourth semester after enrollment.

③ Paper review and defense

After the completion of the thesis, 3 peer experts (1 of them must be experts outside the school) were anonymously reviewed, and 60 points or more could enter the defense stage. The dissertation defense committee consists of 3-5 experts. The director of the defense committee must be an expert from outside the school. In reply, the respondent first states the background and significance of the topic, the research method, the research content, the main academic contribution and so on, and then accepts the experts to question the questions and answers the questions raised by the experts. The experts agree with the experts above 2/3 to reply.

(2) Writing requirements

After enrollment, postgraduates should develop training plans under the guidance of tutors. On the basis of the clear direction of scientific research, through the collection of data, investigation and research and the necessary pre research, the research topic is determined and the title of the master's degree thesis is preliminarily drawn up, and the topic selection report of the thesis is written. The research subject is based on academic and academic research, and should belong to basic research or application innovation based on certain theoretical research.

After the examination was approved by the tutor, at the end of the second semester or at the beginning of the third semester, the thesis was presented at the conference attended by the tutor group. The student should revise it according to the revision opinions put forward by the tutor. When the teacher agrees to finalize the draft, the student will apply for the defense application to the college.

10. Academic and practical activities

(1) Academic activities

Graduate students should take part in various academic activities and fill in the academic activity record form, record the contents and harvest of academic activities. During the period of reading, attend at least 1 professional seminars at or above the provincial level.

(2) practical activities

Academic degree graduate students should carry out practice and practice training in practice units or departments with conditions within school and outside school, and the practice time is arranged by the tutor.
