Teachers and Students of Our College Attended the 2019 Annual Meeting of Henan Geographical Society

From October 11th to 13th, 2019, many professors, scholars and graduate students of our school were invited to Xinyang Teachers College to participate in the 2019 Annual Meeting of Henan Geographical Society. In the morning session, Professor Fu Shenglei, the dean of our college, was invited to be one of the moderators. In 22 academic reports, Professor Fu Shenglei took "Research Progress of Ecological Geography" as the title. In the report, he first introduced the concept and development history of ecological geography, and further pointed out the inherent relationship between ecology and geography. Many cases of large-scale field ecological experiments at home and abroad are introduced, the importance of geographical thinking in ecological research is emphasized, and future research in related fields is made. At the closing ceremony of this annual meeting, Professor Zhang Pengyan and Professor Zhao Jianji of our college won the “Henan Provincial Geographical Society Youth Science and Technology Award”, which also demonstrated our strong academic strength and won honors and colors for our college.
