(1)Training objectives
This major develops moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic development in an all-round way,and grasp the basic theory, knowledge and skills of environmental science. have the strong hands-on ability, wide knowledge, innovative spirit and innovative ability.In the environmental protection department, the environmental supervision department, the Environmental Assessment Company, the sewage treatment plant, the industrial and mining enterprises and other units, they can engage in the environmental monitoring, environmental management, environmental assessment and the development of environmental engineering technology.Or in the education scientific research institutions engaged in the scientific research and teaching of the senior specialized personnel, and for the environmental science and related subjects graduate education transports the excellent students.
(2)Professional requirement
Students in this field should fully understand the theoretical system of environmental science, be familiar with the environmental protection laws and regulations and environmental pollution control techniques, and focus on the basic skills of environmental monitoring technology and environmental assessment and environmental planning and management.have a good scientific literacy and certain teaching, research, development and management capabilities.
Graduates should acquire the following knowledge and abilities:
① Grasping the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of basic courses such as chemistry, mathematics, computer, etc.
② Systematically grasp the basic theories and basic knowledge of environmental science, and receive a good training in scientific thinking and scientific experiments.
③ Mastering the basic methods of environmental law and environmental management.
④ Having strong capability of environmental monitoring, environmental quality assessment, environmental planning and management, and environmental engineering design.
⑤ Mastering the basic methods of document retrieval, data inquiry and using the modern information technology to acquire information, having the preliminary scientific research ability and practical application ability.
⑥ With high ideological, cultural, psychological and physical qualities, having strong adaptability, coordination, adaptability and innovation ability.
2、 Academic system and degree
(1)The implementation of the flexible school system. The basic school system of this profession is 4 years, and students can complete their studies in 3-7 years.
(2) Graduates who meet the requirements of the degree Ordinance shall be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree.
3、The requirements of graduation
The total amount of graduation is 168 credits, of which the required courses are 98 credits (38 credits for public basic platform courses, 34 credits for basic platform courses and 26 credits for professional basic platform courses).the elective courses need 53 credits (professional elective 45 credits, public elective courses 8 credits); practical teaching 17 credits (including the "special credits" 5 credits).
