Our college won the third prize of the staff badminton competition of Henan University in 2020

On December 24, the 2020 staff badminton competition of Henan University came to an end in the badminton hall of the East playground of Minglun campus. As the winning team of the fifth film group, our team won the third prize after 7 days of fierce competition.

The competition was hosted by the trade union committee of Henan University and the Sports Committee of Henan University. The final stage was hosted by the College of physical education of Henan University and the Badminton Association of staff of Henan University. The final stage was held in the badminton hall of the East playground of Minglun campus. The competition is a mixed team competition for men and women. It adopts the five game three win system, with two wins in each game. Mixed doubles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men's singles and women's singles are carried out in turn.

Our college has played against the press, College of physics and electronics, College of life sciences, College of physical education, College of Journalism and communication, middle school affiliated to Henan University and Minsheng college. In the course of the competition, our players can quickly enter the competition state. The powerful killing ball, moderate strength long-range ball and soft feel small ball in front of the net won the applause of the audience. The doubles players cooperate with each other tacitly, and the singles players have high morale. Even if the score is behind, they will never give up until the end of the competition, showing the indomitable competitive spirit.

The staff badminton match fully demonstrated our team's sportsmanship of fearing no strong opponent, daring to fight and fighting, as well as the team image of unity and high spirited. They are not arrogant and impetuous, steady and steady, showing the good quality of geoscientists. After the game, the team members said that through this competition, they saw the gap between themselves and the top players.
