From December 19 to 20, 2020, the second natural resources science and technology works competition for college students of China Society of natural resources was held in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province. Under the guidance of  Wenhua Gao, Bingyan Jin, Huixin Chen, Jiaying Li and Sizhe Fan of our college in 2018 participated in the competition and won the second prize.

Sponsored by China Society of natural resources, the competition aims to strengthen college students' scientific understanding of resources and national conditions, establish the awareness of cherishing and saving resources, and mobilize their enthusiasm and creativity to participate in natural resources science and technology. 81 colleges and universities from Beijing Normal University, Nanjing University, Nanjing Normal University, Shaanxi Normal University and so on actively participated in the competition. After layers of selection by the expert group, a total of 60 works were successfully promoted to the finals, and 32 works were awarded the excellent works award.

In the competition, four team members performed well in the field defense and poster style display. Through questionnaires and field visits, the team members investigated the cooking energy consumption structure in different rural areas of Jiyuan City, and on this basis, comprehensively analyzed and discussed the cooking energy consumption structure mode and its environmental impact in different rural areas of Jiyuan City. It is of great significance to carry out the investigation and Research on the energy consumption structure in rural areas of Henan Province, to accurately understand the energy consumption situation in rural areas of Henan Province, and to help the construction of beautiful China.
